Our fishing charters depart daily from Sunrise Marina in Cape Canaveral, FL. It’s perfect for any small group of friends or family that is looking to enjoy the Florida waters. Our private charters have a 6 people max capacity for all trips.

Fishing Charter FAQs
Please make sure that you have successfully booked your trip and paid your deposit. The captain will be in contact with you to go over some final details and weather expectations. If you need to cancel your trip, please contact us as soon as possible. You may bring beer, water, and food on the Odyssey. No hard liquor or drugs are allowed on the boat.
We work extremely hard to keep everyone safe while providing an unforgettable experience. An industry standard tip of 10% – 20% is appreciated! For any other questions, please contact us, we are more than happy to help!
Grouper
Best times to fish for Grouper are May to December.
Snapper
Best times are June to July!
Amberjack
Spring is primetime for Amberjacks!
King Mackerel
There is so much King Mackerel available to catch near and offshore year round!
Dolphin (Florida Mahi Mahi)
April to September are the best months to catch any Dolphin fish in this area.
Cobia
Cobia is abundant all year round offshore, however, the best times to fish for Cobia is when they are migrating up and down the coast which is around March to April and August to September. In the summertime, you can sometimes also find Cobia close to the shore.
Wahoo
Anytime from October to February and August to September are great times to catch Wahoo!
Black Tuna
Black Tuna is very abundant in Florida and can be caught year long. However, the biggest catch is always during Springtime.
Sailfish
These catch and release fish (unless you have a federal HMS permit) are best to catch from October to March.
Barracuda
The largest Barracuda can always be caught during the winter months.
While many people are resistant to motion sickness, there are some people that can be a little more sensitive and that is ok. Some things that can help with feeling seasick is eating lighter meals. Try to avoid eating greasy and acidic foods that may upset your stomach. There are also motion sickness over the counter medications you can take if needed.
At Odyssey Fishing Charters, we offer full day and half day trips. Full day trips are 9 hours long and are about 15 – 45 miles offshore. Half day trips are 5 hours long and are about 5 – 25 miles offshore.
Our prices for full day and half day deep sea fishing trips are not per person. There is a 6 people max and usually the party that books the trip can split the cost however they’d like.
There is a $200 deposit that is required in order to book your trip. We do ask if there are any cancellations, you give us at least 3 days notice to receive a full refund.
